Tools / About these tools
Who I am, why these exist, and what they are explicitly not.
My name is Jordan Bee. GlideOps is my one-person business, based in London. I build automation and software that reads financial and legal paperwork and turns it into something usable: letting agent statements into SA105 records, that sort of thing.
I am not an accountant, not a tax adviser, and not a solicitor. GlideOps is not a regulated firm and I am not registered to act as a tax agent. Nothing on this site is advice about your circumstances. I am saying this plainly rather than burying it because you should know exactly what you are reading before you act on a number.
Each one applies published HMRC or court rules to figures you type in, entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are never sent anywhere and are never stored, and there is no sign-up. Anonymous page counts are recorded so I know which tools actually get used: no cookies, no personal data, no advertising trackers. Where a calculation depends on something a calculator cannot know, the tool says so and declines rather than producing a confident wrong answer.
Every tool carries the date its rules were last checked against HMRC or gov.uk. Tax rates move at every Budget, and MTD rules have already shifted more than once. If a page shows a date more than a few months old, verify before relying on it. If you spot something wrong, email me and I will fix it.
I cannot answer individual tax questions by email. Not reluctance, just that answering a specific person's tax position is the thing I have said I am not qualified to do. For that you want an accountant or a solicitor, and for most of these topics it is worth the fee.
Last verified 16 September 2026. This is an estimate from a calculator, not tax advice, and GlideOps is not a firm of accountants. It uses 2026/27 rates for England and Northern Ireland and cannot see your full circumstances. Check anything that matters against HMRC guidance or an accountant before you file or commit money.
